I cant tell much about the game itself, as there is only the "Karate" mode available and thats a pretty much boring side view fighting mode. I CANT HELP BUT IT SEEMS OUTRIGHT STUPID TO ME, TO OFFER A FREE EDITION IN WHICH YOU CANT TRY THE MAIN GAME MODE. HOW WOULD I BE ABLE TO DECIDE, IF I WANTED TO PURCHASE THE FULL GAME? I WOULDNT AND THAT MEANS I WONT BUY IT!
My iPhone hates me for downloading this game :(
I prefer to play a game that responds when I do something. Levels are just too hard to get by and this just wasted one hour of my life!
Someone actually spent time creating this game? Sure, it had ok graphics, but thats not the most important aspect of a game. Its actually supposed to be fun, and this one depressed me. Absolutely no amount of fun whatsoever. You punch or kick the opponent (each hit knocks them down like they were hit by a bulldozer), and first one to successfully land a certain number of hits wins. And then you do it again, and again... And when youve knocked down your opponent, you do it once more, then once again, and again. Sometimes you successfully land a hit in the face but nothing happens. The most fun I had with this game is writing this review about it. The 5 star review was clearly written by the developer, copying and pasting a line from the description. Sorry developer, Im sure a good number of hours went into creating this game, but it was a big flop.
A lot of people seem to dislike this game but I found it a lot of fun. Although the gameplay is a bit repetitive it is very addictive. There are 4 different difficulties to stop it from getting to repetitive. After defeating 9 characters you get rewarded with a new character. The games graphics are great and the settings are interesting. The rain effects are really great too. The only thing that stops Zen Warrior from being a perfect 5 is the characters. Although there are 10 playable characters they are almost exact clones of each other with the same attacks and bodies. The only differences are the colours and names. All in all Zen Warrior is a great game and is free! I recommend to download the game right now. (this is a review of the free karate mode and does not cover the Zen Warrior mode which you have to purchase in game to play)
